Electric Smart Kart

Loyola Marymount University Electrical and Computer Engineering Department

Background

The goal of this project is to research, design, and build an autonomous car but using a 1/5 scale remote controlled (RC) car. A RC car was chosen because it already had all electric features that we could not find in larger products were the braking systems were largely mechanical instead of electrical. The RC car is also very easy test and demo.
