Plans for next week:

  • Test Raspberry Pi PWM signal controls for motor, brakes and servo.

  • Finalize design of CANBUS

  • Work on individual Modules.

  • Finalize testing of Arduino Nanos.

Group Meeting memo:

  • Discussed the generation PWM signals using a Raspberry Pi.

  • Discussed user interface and what microprocessor would control it.

  • Discussed the PCB design, focusing on Arduino nanos.

  • Continued discussion module based design for CANBUS system and each modules wiring/components.

Project Progress

Quinn:

  • Updated Bill of Materials to order Arduino Nano's for testing as well as mini HDMI adapter for Raspberry Pi 4B.

  • Developed PWM signal generation algorithm for Raspberry Pi 4B.


Jordyn

  • Worked on CAN Bus design using eagle software



Jacob

  • I worked on splitting the Arduino programs so that one Arduino Nano will process the information from the ultrasonic sensors and the another Arduino Nano will use an algorithm to Auto-Park. This will make the design more modular.

DJ

  • Researched the generation of PWM signals using a Raspberry Pi.

  • Next weeks plan: Work on generating PWM signals with the Raspberry Pi and send the signal to the car.
